Allens partners to present at Rosie Traill Conference Friday 23 March

Allens Arthur Robinson insolvency partners Clint Hinchen and Matthew Whittle will be presenting at the Traill and Associates 11th Annual National Practical Insolvency Conference this Friday 23 March 2012.

Clint and Matthew will be presenting on the lessons learned from recent managed investment scheme insolvencies. They will consider a hypothetical scenario which will highlight the most important recurring themes in the area, including the difference between trust based and contract based schemes. They will also answer important questions such as who controls the companies and assets related to a scheme, how the schemes can be wound up, the effect of a scheme's insolvency on the RE's business and how the assets of the schemes can ultimately be realised.
